Crystal is going diving. Turns out that it is one of her passions, and while it will suck to lose her it is great to see her chasing a dream. You should all be chasing your dreams. In the meantime though, please help us get the word out that, Urban Grind needs a new coffee maker and FAST.

For a few months now we have been getting our fruit and vegetables from foodconnect.com.au. At first it is pretty similar to any other online fruit/vege service, but this one has some differences. Firstly you have to pay in advance for your veges. A minimum of one month. Why? Because part of connecting with you food is understanding that if the farmer falls on hard times you do too.
Your veges are also not delivered to your door, you have to pick them us from your city cousin. The veges are dropped of in packed boxed where you can pick them up. This can provide the opportunity to connect with others. Also all the veges are from the surrounding areas of Brisbane. Your food is local food and seasonal. I understand too that 80% certified organic is claimed.
The picture to the left shows you just how much we get in the $40/week Gourmet Mixed Box. Always feels like great value to us. It is worth at least trying once. Always fresh, always tasty.
