Well I had so much success with the Air Conditioning post that I thought I might try my luck with a bit of global warming talk. After much discussion and research I have made up my mind that it is happening, and that we are causing it. Those believing otherwise are what I would call the uneducated. A Marine Biologist friend of mine calls them bloody idiots. A rise in Cyclone activity surely has nothing to do with rising ocean temperatures, even though the BOM.gov.au site lists warm ocean waters as the first precondition to cyclone formation. Ask your weather man, ask a marine biologist, ask this guy, Richard Alley; He drills ice cores in antarctica and looks back at the earths history. If you own observations and intuitions are not enough for you, Richard has the hard science.
But the reason for this post in not to inspire a discussion over whether we need to take action. I bring it up to inspire urgency and a thinking of the reasons why. I am going to pull at the heart strings now and ask that in honor of
